It’s a big day for Ampfibian: after many months of blood, sweat and tears, we welcome a new member to our product lineup: the Ampfibian MINI.
Engineered and manufactured to the same high Ampfibian standard, this new 15A to 10A adaptor is available at an aggressively lower price. This was achieved by removing some of the industrial grade features of the RV02-MAX.
“The Ampfibian MINI is for people who want a high quality Australian made product, but don’t need the weatherproofing or heavy duty industrial features of the RV02-MAX.
“With the addition of the MINI to Ampfibian’s product range, people now have a choice of products to match their needs”, said company founder David Betterridge.
The Ampfibian MINI contains protection certified to comply with Australian electrical standards, allowing safe and legal connection between 10A and 15A. The Ampfibian MINI achieves this by cutting the current if it exceeds 10A. It also provides personal protection from electric shocks using a residual current device (RCD), which can be caused by faulty wiring or appliances.
